I'm a certified speech-language pathologist and a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin. I work with each child individually in 30-minute sessions across a range of pediatric speech and language needs, and I'm especially drawn to myofunctional therapy, AAC, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and pediatric feeding.

Therapy shaped around how your child communicates
Sessions are individual, 30 minutes long, and built around clear, achievable goals — with steady updates so you always know where things stand.
Articulation
Helping children produce speech sounds clearly and correcting patterns that affect how well they’re understood.
Expressive & Receptive Language
Growing vocabulary, sentence structure, social language, and the ability to understand and share ideas — including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) where it helps.
Myofunctional Therapy
Addressing oral rest posture and muscle patterns that affect speech, swallowing, and breathing. Children and adults.

Thirty focused minutes, sized for a young attention span. We warm up, work the target skill through play and structured practice, and finish with something to try at home during the week. Sessions take place in Wheatfield — families travel in from around the area, so reach out and we can talk about whether the drive works for you.
Getting started
A short inquiry helps us understand your child's needs and outline next steps. A card on file is required to schedule ongoing services — you'll receive a secure link to enter payment information before the first session.
Small muscles, big impact.
Breathing, chewing, swallowing, speaking.
Mouth breathing, a stubborn thumb-sucking habit, an open bite, or a lisp that won’t go away — these are often written off as things kids will “grow out of,” or just quirks adults have always lived with. A lot of the time, they’re signs of a muscle imbalance in the mouth and face, and that imbalance can quietly affect speech, sleep, eating, and orthodontic outcomes at any age.
That’s where orofacial myofunctional therapy comes in. It uses targeted exercises to retrain the tongue, lips, and face to work the way they’re meant to — so breathing, swallowing, chewing, and talking all come more naturally.
Signs you or your child might benefit
You don’t need a diagnosis to reach out. If any of these sound familiar, it’s worth asking about.
Why it matters
These patterns usually don’t just fix themselves. Left alone, they can:
- Affect airway health and breathing — poor tongue posture and mouth breathing can impact how well the airway develops and functions, which ties into sleep and overall health
- Undo orthodontic work — braces or aligners may not hold long-term if the underlying muscle habits stick around
- Keep a lisp or speech sound in place even with speech therapy
- Get in the way of good sleep and daytime focus
- Turn mealtimes into a daily battle
What to expect
We start with an evaluation to get a clear picture of oral rest posture, breathing, swallowing, and any related speech concerns. From there we build a plan around engaging exercises that fold easily into your daily routine at home.
Addressing these patterns can mean better airway function, an easier road through orthodontics, better sleep, and speech therapy that finally sticks — whether you’re bringing in your child or working on it yourself.
Meet your child's speech-language pathologist
This practice grew out of a simple idea: children make the most progress when therapy is built around them rather than around a template. I start from what your child can already do and build from there, choosing goals that matter in their actual day — at home, at school, with friends.
I practice across a range of pediatric speech-language therapy — articulation, expressive and receptive language, and myofunctional work. Within that, myofunctional therapy, AAC, speech sound disorders, language disorders, and pediatric feeding are the ones I keep chasing down: extra training, extra reading, the cases still on my mind long after the session ends.
Working outside of insurance keeps the plan flexible: what we target is driven by your child's progress rather than what an insurer will authorize, and billing stays simple and predictable.
